Obs stands for Observatory for Design and Architecture in the Region of Murcia.
The Obs was created to meet the following objectives:
In order to achieve these goals, the Obs works at different levels. On the one hand, it tries to get integrated in processes and activities of international range, by means of agreements with other international institutions and by participating in European programs. On the other hand, this character is also reproduced in the activities organised by the Obs itself, thanks to the international relevance of their participants, and also to the development of this website, conceived as a platform for information exchange and visibility of the Obs actions.
The Region of Murcia is the geographical area where the Obs operates. It is an autonomous region located on the South East coast of Spain, whose capital is the city of Murcia. Other important towns in this region are Cartagena and Lorca.
